edge bander

WARNING! heat guns get very hot!! there is a definite fire danger because of the materials used in this project!! I used a bed caster wheel for the roller which is probably not the best material because of the direct heat. A piece of 1" steel round stock would be ideal. there is also a risk of the wood getting to hot during extended use. Looking around and looks like the cheapest bander you will find is about 400 buck (to much for me). I used materials I already had lying around the house and bought a 20 dollar heat gun. I am really surprised how will this works and it should make my kitchen project go much faster. Disclaimer This video is not a "how to" they are just for entertainment purposes.
