In Electromagnetics I, students get an opportunity to learn about Maxwell's equations and how to apply them to various situations of practical importance.
They do that through a combination of lectures, discussion sections, and labs. In the labs they apply what they’re learning in class. For example, they’ll work with standing waves in transmission lines. And they’ll use sophisticated devices like vector network analyzers to measure various properties of the transmission lines and other electromagnetic structures.
