The Easter egg gammarus gets its name from the materials used for the shellback coming from the flashy ribbon in Easter egg baskets! A fall specialty with that extra flash this fly is a staple food for the fall fishing season so make sure you have some on hand as water temps cool and fish start feeding in the shallows!
