The existing socket is part of a ring circuit, pre checks and test (for e.g. end to end test, RCD protected etc) were carried for the installation. This part of the video shows how to chase into the wall to install and fix the double metal back box and also how to route the cables. In the follow up video it will show extending the existing ring circuit to accommodate the new additional double socket. (connecting and testing).
