Nice to be able to fly this model again after almost 6 years!
The original BNF model was unpowered so I added a small Tower Pro 2409-18 motor and extended the 3mm shaft out the nose for FES power.
The prop is a Graupner CAM 9x5 with a 20A ESC powered by a Zippy 3s 1300mah LiPo.
Overall weight is around 600g and I did not have to use the motor at all for this flight.
The 2.25m span EPO model has a good scale appearance and flies very well in light to moderate wind conditions.
It also has scale Shempp-Hirth style airbrakes which are very effective in altitude control and landing.
Such a pity ParkZone don't make them anymore :(
