Electrolysis rocket MVCQ2723
High School Chemistry Fun with a small scale electrolysis Inspired by Bob Worley and Kazuko Ogino Electrolysis of dilute sodium sulfate in a small plastic tube, approximately 3 ml volume, leads to formation of a hydrogen and oxygen gas mixture in the tube. The gases can be ignited in the tube producing a small "rocket". Cover your ears and wear safety spectacles.
