Electronics 101: Resistors
The second video in the Electronics 101 series. Today we look at the component called the resistor and it's close relative, the potentiometer. As usual, these videos are meant to be educational, so I'm still looking for comments on what the next video should be about. The next video should a viewer submission video, but if I don't receive any suggestions, then the next video will progress as usually. You can put your suggestions in the comment section below, or you can send me a message or an email to [email protected], for both put "Electronics 101 Suggestion" in the subject box. I mentioned this at the beginning of the video, but didn't get back to it, so I thought I'd mention it here. The color codes on the resistor are used to calculate the resistance. There are color charts available all over the internet. Let me point you to one. http://www.smpspowersupply.com/resistor/resistor_color_code.gif And check out my blog to see what other projects I'm working on: http://8bitprojects.blogspot.com/
