Electrostatic separator is usually used for streams that have small conductors and coarse non-conductors for the particles between 75 and 250 microns. The high tension rollers are usually used for streams that have coarse conductors and fine non-conductors.
The separators used for separating minerals sands i.e. zircon, rutile and limonite are separated from the silica.
