My Emacs configuration file has grown large after more than 20 years of searching for my editor nirvana. More than 1,600 lines of Lisp goodness. This Christmas, I decided to start off from scratch, only adding the lines I truly needed.
After 3-4 days, I had around 500 lines that provided me with everything I needed: Org, XML, YAML, Java, BASH, compile buffer, Magit, nice theme and everything else.
In this video, I go through these to me precious 500 lines of packages, tweaks, hacks and custom functions I still cannot live without.
