Paragliding at the lake I was practicing stalls to back-fly and made some mistakes. The lines snagged on my helmet and I found myself in a situation that required an emergency reserve throw. It only takes a few seconds in the video but seemed like forever when I was trying to sort it out and making decisions in the air. I'm thankful that I have had enough training and experience to make decisions that ended safely. That being said I know that with more experience and training this type of scenario should be avoidable.
