A key objective of the Drones Group is to encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration between National Societies. Keven Elfenbein is a volunteer on the American Red Cross IT/T Emergency Response Unit (ERU) roster, and an autonomous systems and software engineer. He has direct knowledge of how the drone industry continues to innovate and make it easier to leverage drone technology in complex environments. This presentation provides an overview of several emerging drone technologies and how they benefit users and is a discussion on how these technologies have the potential to currently or eventually prove useful in Red Cross operations.
