This video presentation identifies the emerging technology and policy behind the implementation of GenAI in educational settings. It describes explicitly the technology in familiar terminology, including the attributes, classification, affordances and interactivity of GenAI. It looks at eSafety and privacy, challenges and implementation, culminating with a PICRAT analysis of possible use in a primary school setting.
