Empty Hats - Blind Fiddler
Since 1993, this mult-talented band with deep Celtic influence has entertained audiences all over the country, performing at Renaissance Faires and Music Festivals. The band is made up of Carl Asch, Lynda Kavy and lyricist Ciara Carinci, and a fiddler whose identity is ever-changing. Blind Fiddler is a great song off of the album Captured. Most of the Empty Hats music is made up of renditions of classic songs, sometimes with new lyrics, always extremely well-done. If you enjoy them, please spread their name! Lyrics: You know I lost my eyes in a blacksmith shop in the year of forty eight so I picked up a fiddle and I began to play I am not sad and lonely, content am I to roam 'cause I am a blind fiddler and the world it is my home well I went down to london and I played for the king I've learned that I am happiest when I can play and sing I am not sad and lonely content am I to roam 'cause I am a blind fiddler and the world it is my home I have no wife or children no one depends on me I've seen my share of sorrows, but I am truely free I am not sad and lonely, content am I to roam 'cause I am a blind fiddler and the world it is my home You know I lost my eyes in a blacksmith shop in the year of forty eight so I picked up a fiddle and I began to play I am not sad and lonely, content am I to roam 'cause I am a blind fiddler and the world it is my home
