EMS Documentation: Stroke or Suspected Stroke

All EMS providers are familiar with the proverb "If it wasn't documented, it didn't happen". In the information age, we should modify that to read, "If it wasn't documented in the right EPCR field, it didn't happen". When it comes to ESO, the way to accurately record stroke assessment is not always apparent to the casual user. In my ongoing series about documentation, I will explain the EPCR fields that make the government data nerds go ga-ga.
