Lately we've been seeing several complete decompilations, and recompilations of select games. A special privilege for those who are fans of such games as they consistently provide arguably the best means to play the respective games. Emulation stood as the depatebly superior option due to how it may improve various games. But now decomp and recomp may become a new norm once the tools to create them become more sophisticated and accessible with nothing more than an original copy of a game. I wanted to take a look at a few of the decomps/recomps that i've played and lighty combat them against their pc emulated counterparts, to see which is the superior experience. 0:00 - Intro 3:04 - Super Metroid 6:36 - Super Mario World 8:41 - Link to The Past 10:39 - N64 Emulation 11:21 - N64 Decomps/Recomps 14:24 - Sonic Unleashed 18:22 - Outro Links: https://gamehistory.org/87percent/ https://github.com/snesrev?tab=repositories https://github.com/RadzPrower https://github.com/stephini/SMAS_Launcher https://github.com/HarbourMasters https://www.reddit.com/r/xbox360/comments/162dx4p/i_went_through_1113_games_on_marketplacexboxcom/ @PieStudios Music Used: World 5 - Super Mario Galaxy 2 World 6 - Super Mario Galaxy Valley of Bowser - Super Mario World Underground - Super Mario World Maridia - Super Metroid Dragon Road Night - Sonic Unleashed Rooftop Run Night - Sonic Unleashed Skytown - Metroid Prime 3 Corruption Seal of Seven Maidens - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to The Past Racoon City - Resident Evil 2 Menu - Star Fox 64 Underground - Super Mario 64 Menu - Super Smash Bros Endless Possibilities (Instrumental) - Sonic Unleashed Outro: Menu - Frogger (PS1)
