A demonstration of the ENGG1200 Beam Bending Project. The students had to design and build the signal conditioning for the strain gauge, as well as design the beam and predict its failure point.
The test rig was built wholly by the EAIT Faculty Workshop Group. National Instruments' Signal Express was used to display the load applied, the strain gauge voltage and the output of the circuit. This was set up by the Instrumentation Support Group (FWG).
