An electrical fire in the making: An overloaded circuit on this engine overheats and quickly ignites the wire’s insulation and loom, pieces of molten material are seen dropping off the cable, along with, eventually, molten copper, ultimately breaking the circuit and reducing the heat. The vessel owner is able to extinguish the flames using a handheld fire extinguisher.
