The Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science at Binghamton University again hosts a full day of programming for budding engineers in celebration of National Engineers Week. There were several new hands-on activities, including hoop glider construction, building batteries with lemons, and building circuits from scratch. Other events offered familiar challenges from the past: the 15-foot egg drop and building mini-catapults. Participants also constructed the sturdiest tower they can out of spaghetti and marshmallows, or create their own designs with LEGOs.
