This photo essay exemplifies the importance of environmental learning. To thoroughly enjoy the learning process and create a life long learning experience, teachers should provide students the opportunity to interact with the environment around them. This fosters a sense of independence in our students and allows students to also keep their new found knowledge in their long term memory. If the outdoors is not possible, teachers should still provide their students a classroom where the very walls and content in class are providing them with a rich learning experience.
