Epenarra's Change Challenge - 2012

Epenarra School's Change Challenge Presentation (Darwin) - 2011/12 I first came to Epenarra as Principal in 2010. Our fantastic teachers, teaching assistants, students and Community worked hard during 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 to bring about big changes at Epenarra School...a new Senior classroom, a Pre-School classroom, a cover on the Basket Ball court, and in 2013 a Library, Home Ec classroom and Manual Arts room and a covered verandah linking the admin block to the Upper Primary classroom (all courtesy of the ADF). During 2012 our School won multiple awards: Smart Schools (Inclusive Curriculum - our whole school learned Auslan), Smarter Schools (most improved performance for a remote school curriculum/data collection, which brought us a $15,000 prize with which we purchased library books in 2014), and a Remote Schools Community Enterprise Award (woodworking) with individual prizes for students. Three fantastic years I will never forget. Thank you everyone at Epenarra!
