We breathe in through machines, that feed these skylines. No room for hesitation, we hold the fire. We breathe in through machines. At 19, her innocence is lost. All alone in a country not her own. This is the biggest risk she'll take; leaning on a man whose every promise breaks. When she's a bird that's caged in her own home. The life she lives is one that's too full grown. But she can't stop to think about her past, the baby's crying so make sure these thoughts don't last! She takes the stairs to the 77th floor. She looks down, she can't take this anymore. She's taken all the pills she can. But STOP STOP, you've already gone too far! She takes a breath and steps down. STOP STOP, you've already gone too far! She says she loves me but she knows I can't return the feelings. From what I know we've a disease that's gone past any healing. The city darkens, the twilight holds, the silence lessens the fact that we can't think about the future, just the present. We breathe in through machines, that feed these skylines.
