7-Day Canoe Trip in Killarney Provincial Park | Backcountry Camping Ontario Killarney Provincial Park is famous for it’s gorgeous hikes, ancient quartzite mountain rage, and the La Cloche Silhouette Trail—but for our first trip through Killarney, we decided to explore it by canoe. This 7-day backcountry canoe route loops around the La Cloche Mountain range, offering a scenic and challenging adventure through one of Ontario’s most iconic parks. We paddled from campsite to campsite, experiencing Killarney’s crystal-clear lakes, rocky portages, and peaceful campsites—all at the height of fall colour. If you're planning a canoe camping trip in Ontario, this route offers incredible scenery, paddling through iconic lakes such as O.S.A Lake, Killarney Lake and Nellie Lake.
