Epicurus Drinking Automaton

This machine is based on the ancient philosopher Epicurus who is misinterpreted as promoting that we should eat, drink and be merry. He did say something along the lines of "The only thing that is intrinsically valuable is ones own pleasure." however he recommended a virtuous and moderately ascetic life as the best means to securing this pleasure. None the less here he is pouring himself a limitless glass of wine. Various drinking automata have been made over the years, so I thought that I too should give one a try. The mechanisms are made from steel the head is cast in pewter. At some stage I intend to make a kit version of this in laser cut wood for people to put together.
