Episode 28 - GUI Application Development using Lazarus & Free Pascal

Welcome to Part 28. In this session we continue developing StringGrid Demo program using Free Pascal and the Lazarus IDE (Integrated Development Environment). Our program demonstrates how the String Grid control of our simple Graphical User Interface (GUI) might be used. We make each of the cells required so that the user can't skip past empty cells in the string grid control. We also automatically validate birth date data entered in the birth date cells when they are exited using the ValidBirthDate integer function, which was generated by Google's Gemini AI (Artificial Intelligence) chatbot. The code can be cross compiled on Linux, Microsoft Windows and Apple's Mac operating systems.
