Equilibrium--Start Swimming

This is a compilation of clips from the movie "Equilibrium," starring Christian Bale, Taye Diggs, and Emily Watson. This is the first "movie music video" I've ever done; I was basically messing around with Windows Movie Maker and trying to figure things out, and I needed a movie to practice with. I've always liked this movie and the fight scenes are spectacular, almost like dance sequences. For those of you who don't know the plot, the movie takes place in a futuristic totalitarian society, where the government has devised a solution to ending wars, crime and violence. The solution is in the form of a drug called "Prozium," which all citizens must inject daily, and it numbs all human emotion. Groups of police-like figures called the Grammatron Clerics patrol the city, enforce the Prozium law, and arrest or kill "sense offenders" (the resistance who refuse to take the drug and hence, still feel emotion). My video focuses more on the relationship between John Preston (Bale) and Mary (Watson), the woman he arrests as a sense offender but ultimately begins to have feelings for after he stops taking the Prozium. Mary is sentenced to be incinerated, and Preston leads an uprising against the regime. The song is "Start Swimming" by Delain *Note: I OWN NOTHING!
