ERIX tool saves up to 90% of the manufacturing time on back spotfacing and chamfering operations compared to conventional methods. The patented tool comprises a spindle with a cutter, called a wing, which folds into the spindle recess when the tool passes through the hole in the workpiece. Standard sizes range from 4,5 mm or 3/16" to 69 mm or 2-11/16" hole diameter.
