In this video there is a model of the WRONG way to solve a subtraction problem. The viewer is asked to find the mistakes. There are several:
1. The solver started on the left (hundreds place value) and worked their way to the right
2. When borrowing, the solver took from a smaller place value and gave to the larger place value which isn't possible--you can't borrow one small thing and turn it into something 10 times larger
3. When presented with an opportunity where you had to take away a large quantity from a small quantity, the solver just flipped the numbers around to make it easier to subtract
