ESTHER CHAPTERS 7 & 8

Esther 7... On the second day of the banquet, Queen Esther presents the matter on her mind to her husband. Teaching us to be cautious and seek the wisdom from God when presenting a matter to someone be it spouse, friend, boss, etc. Pray before meeting with them, so God goes ahead of you and prepares their hearts to receive you totally. The King's offer still stands to give Queen Esther up to half of his kingdom, but that's not what she wants. She is Kingdom minded, purposeful and her mandate is set. She has been raised to deliver her people and that's all that will satisfy her. Now is the time of her great reveal, the undercover Jewish Orphan Girl reveals that she is Jewish to her husband. And not only that, her and her people's lives are threatened. And not only that Haman is the instigator of it all. Oh my! King Ahasuerus reacts immediately and Haman is doomed forever as he is sentenced to hang on the same gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Esther Chapter 8... The mission of Queen Esther continues as she approaches her husband with grace and humility seeking him to revoke his initial decree. A good husband is protective by nature and all that concerns his wife will concern him. This is why King Ahasuerus takes the matter of the Jews very seriously and ensures that the proposed damage of Haman is forever destroyed. An amazing thing happens where many of the people in the land become Jews. There is a lesson to be learned on spiritual warfare and the promises of God in this chapter. Listen, learn and apply.
