Etching technique using oil pastel is one of the simplest and easiest technique or activity for beginners.
Use or apply light colors of oil pastel as your first layer.
Then, apply black or darker color on top of the first layer. Cover the whole paper completely. Draw lines/shapes or any design that you want using pointed object (REMINDER: Be careful in using pointed objects) like toothpick/stick .
