Ethereum Development with Hyperledger Web3j and Java: A Hands-on Workshop

Hyperledger Web3j is a highly modular, reactive, type safe Java and Android library for working with Smart Contracts and integrating with clients (nodes) on the Ethereum network. This allows you to work with the Ethereum blockchain, without the additional overhead of having to write your own integration code for the platform. During this session you will learn: 1. Architectural Overview: Understanding Web3j's role in the Web3 ecosystem. Project Kickoff: Steps to create your first Web3j project focusing on creating ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens. 2. Deployment Guide: Deploying Web3j applications with Hyperledger Besu, from testnets to your own network. 3. Smart Contract Java Wrappers and Interacting with them: Learn how to call smart contract functions and test major Ethereum RPC APIs 4. Native Testing: Simplifying unit testing using the Besu EVM (Web3j-unit). 5. Transaction Types: An exploration of EIP155, 1559, 4844.
