EUC Ride Modes and Effortless Acceleration

Electric unicycles have a few or more ride mode settings to choose from. The hard mode is named "Expert" in the KingSong app. Is it aptly named? Is that the one we should always use? If not, why not? How do I determine which setting to use on my GotWay/Begode, Veteran, KingSong, Inmotion, Ninebot, or any other wheel?
