Every School Needs a Pipe Band

Two pipers, from the world renowned Greater Glasgow Police Scotland Pipe Band take on the challenge to build a new Govan pipe band from scratch, bringing together 4 different schools in the area. "Some of these kids have the potential to go right to the top" says pipe tutor Iain. A pipe band in a school can bring huge benefits to those pupils that take part and the whole population of the school. We are campaigning to have Highland Pipes and Drums taught in Scotland's schools on a par with other musical instruments. Every school NEEDS a pipe band.
