Evolantra - Underblight
[Underblight] A Lantern sputters out—starved of heat. Corridors echo with the work I couldn’t meet. Dreams turned to dust before they can take flight. Every year another chain, another lock, silence became a rite. Someone devoured every dream that I had, filling the years with a void that would consume The weight of hot coals, embers burning my hands, etching “not yet” , "it's fine" into my tomb. silence fills an empty cage. waiting rots to rage. Years collapsing like vows. it's what the dark allows. Time stitched shut the mouth of my intent. Rooms filled with drafts that never bent. The ink dried up with artworks never born. Hands trembling like a page half‑torn. *And still— it’s like forging glass under a blood eclipse,* each attempt growing, failing, fracturing at my fingertips. Distant echos where my voice once lived. The cold repeats what I once forgave. Memory claws—sharp as broken bone— dragging up works that should’ve been my own. silence fills an empty cage. waiting rots to rage. Years collapsing like vows. it's what the dark allows. years became gnashing teeth, that ripped my flesh clean. absolution of internal silence learning to intervene. No Mercy, No forgiveness, no freedom to claim. Gravity of understanding returning everything I became. silence fills an empty cage. waiting rots to rage. Years collapsing like vows. it's what the dark allows silence fills an empty cage. waiting rots to rage. Years collapsing like vows. it's what the dark allows. I descend, remain. Bone marrow, Blood stains. Let the void recall my sound. Recollect the memory of a maestro unbound I am here, no longer trapped, no longer caged Underneath the Blight credits: © Evolantra, Eyla, Vixen https://evolantra.bandcamp.com/
