Example: Buckling Stress for Structural Steel Angles

This problem brings up an interesting issue. What do you do if you have an asymmetric beam? Also, how does the moment of inertia effect the failure stress for that beam? We are going to see that the beam can have a greatly different failure criteria in different directions. It will always fail in the direction where the buckling stress is least.
