"Ideal air enters an adiabatic turbine at 1000 kPa and 500 K. It is expanded to 100 kPa. The turbine has an efficiency of 75%. Assuming constant specific heats at room temperature, determine: (a) The temperature at the outlet (K) (b) The specific work produced by the turbine (kJkg⁄) (c) The specific entropy generated by this process (kJkg⋅K⁄) (d) Plot this process on T-s diagram relative to the 1000 kPa and 100 kPa isobars as well as saturation lines. (e) If the efficiency of the turbine dropped to 65%, how would that affect answers (a) through (c)? Support your conclusion."
