Here's me solving the Collision level col from pwnable.kr and trying explain myself along the way. Don't worry if you don't get it. I almost don't get it myself. I don't think this exploit is "easy", but well ... the website ranks it as easy. This is not even a real-time follow along. I actually took 4.5 hours, because I went off on a tangent trying to write a Python script that will find the solution through a genetic algorithm (or something similar) because I thought the solution must be discoverable through optimization. Anyways, I forced myself to get back at it, after the scripting odyssee and eventually it worked out. I have to admit, I peeked at a couple of blog posts on this though, just to confirm that I am on the right track to finding the solution. ✘ My No-Nonsense C Programming Course: https://hirschdaniel.gumroad.com/l/c-programming ✘ Get my full dev environment and color scheme: https://hirschdaniel.gumroad.com/l/daniel-terminal ✘ Get Proton VPN to stay anonymous online: https://go.getproton.me/SH27Q ✘ Get ALL my YouTube projects' source code: https://hirschdaniel.gumroad.com/l/sourcecode ✘ Exclusive Content on Patreon (& Get all Projects as Source Code): https://www.patreon.com/HirschDaniel ✘ Learn to Code: https://app.codecrafters.io/join?via=danieldeer A BIG thanks goes out to my "Dev Supporter"-level Patreon nr.bln.
