Extra terrestrial soundscape with agent X 

First time exploring this planetary system, attempting to prepare various transmissions to establish communication lines with resident lifeforms. Agent X: Referendum: exploratory mission of newly discovered planetary system. Successful descent and landing, subsequent construction of base proceeded on schedule. Encountered various lifeforms, collected samples. Regretfully to inform, behind schedule on systems installation and analysis. Successful activation of mobile communication platform and exit from base. Did preliminary exploration of planetary surface and prepared numerous transmissions based on analysis of resident vocal patterns. It is unclear if any of the inhabitants received or responded to the messages. However, it is still early in the study to determine whether or not the messages were able to be deciphered. Unfortunate report during preliminary surface exploration, mobile communications platform crashed into the side of the base, due to limited light spectrum visibility, causing a partial structural collapse. We had not encountered on the surface of this planet being so slippery. Anchor points for base + additional crossbracing may be required for future missions. A minor setback, as the base was almost immediately repaired and back in operation. During systems maintenance we were sequestered to the interior of the base. However, there seem to be some sort of a opera going on outside with various lifeforms, moving in pattern formations on the elevated platform before a seated array of observers. This was unlike any display I have documented previously, however, it reminds us of the Venusian light rituals. Due to an unexpected depletion of energy cells, we were forced to disassemble the mobile communications platform and base preemptively short of black out.
