EXTRACT RIVERS FROM A DEM ARCGIS PRO TUTORIAL - FILL | FLOW DIRECTION / ACCUMULATION | CON | STREAM
Welcome, in this video you will learn how to extract rivers from a simple DEM! 🏞️ Firstly, we will download contour lines from Open DEM! ⤵️⤵️⤵️ Contour Lines Download: https://www.opendem.info/ After that, we will convert these lines into a Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN) using the Create Tin Tool. ⛰️ For step number 3, we simply transformed our previously created TIN into a Raster, using TIN to Raster! 🖌️ After the baseline for the project wasdone, we just used several tools to extract rivers from our Raster: Fill, Flow DIrection, Flow Accumulation, Con, Reclassify and Stream to Feature. 🎨 ⏰Timestamps 0:00 - Intro 00:21 - Download Contour Lines as a Shapefile 01:26 - Create TIN 02:38 - TIN to Raster 03:32 - Fill 04:20 - Flow Direction 05:10 - Flow Accumulation 05:50 - Con 07:05 - Reclassify 08:16 - Stream to Feature and Final Result 10:07 - Outro #gis #geographicinformationsystems #geography #hydrography #rivers #arcgispro #arcgis #arcmap #qgis #fill #flowdirection #flowaccumulation #con #streamtofeature #arctoolbox #geoprocessing #raster #createtin #tintoraster #reclassify #shapefile #dem #digitalelevationmodel Like, share, and subscribe for more insightful tutorials and GIS tips! 📈🔍🌟 🌍Socials 🔸LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/rubenduarte94/ 🔸GitHub: https://github.com/rubenduarte1994 🔸Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/rubenduarte94/ ____________________ Music: Motivational Upbeat Corporate by RinkevichMusic / rinkevichmusic https://protunes.net/ Video Link: https://bit.ly/3NNqGTs ____________________
