Dealing with gases in pipes, flare lines, vent headers, marine vapor
recovery systems or similar processes is tricky business. Too much or too
little oxygen may ruin the quality of the product. More important, too much oxygen can create a dangerous situation where fire or explosion occurs.
In this one hour presentation, we will discuss some of the different
technologies used to measure process oxygen. The focus will be on how
Tunable Diode Laser Spectroscopy (TDLS) overcomes many of the limitations inherent to other measuring technologies. TDLS provides an interference-free oxygen measurement that requires a minimal sampling system and can easily retrofit existing oxygen analysis installations.
