Plain boxes can be transformed into treasures with a little clay and paint. This tutorial covers extruding, texturing, coil work, antiquing, lining the inside of the box and adding embellishments. For this box I used the Czextruder by Lucyclay Tools with Sculpey Premo clay, brown acrylic paint, Sharpie Metallic marker, decorative felt, plus Weldbond and Sobo glues. Texture was created with a small Philips screwdriver, the Can't Live Without It tool by Christi Friesen, a ball stylus, and the Etch & Pearl tool by Sculpey. See links below.
