It is the result of a month-long community challenge in the F-Zero Online Discord channel to create the next numbered track in an SNES setting. Modders were required to use only assets from the original SNES game and its BSX sequel, and they needed to achieve a difficulty level appropriate for the original game. They were encouraged to incorporate track sections and features from the original tracks but were also encouraged to make the new track as unique as possible.
