Fredrik Saroea performing our classic track from back in 2005 “solo” ft. BIT20 Ensemble live at BLÅ in Oslo — shot live by Morten Vee & Kevin Fauske, recorded by Helge Taksdal, and mixed by our very own Øyvind Solheim. Friday June 28th this version drop on YAP Records as a follow-up to Fredrik & BIT20’s live album from 2022 — Rona Diaries: The Chamber Versions Live at the Grieg Hall, Bergen. Whereas the album consist of 12 tracks Fredrik wrote during the corona lockdowns, the new single feature a chamber rendition of our signature tune (lifted off our 2005 debut, DATAROCK DATAROCK) — newly orchestrated by Bjørn Morten Christophersen, and performed live with the same sting string quartet you see on this video; Martin Shultz (violin), Liene Klava (viola), Agnese Rugevica (cello) & Johannes Wik (harp). The single however is recorded by Eivind Bernt Nielsen at the Håkon’s Hall in Bergen, mixed by two-time Grammy winning super-producer Mark Rankin (Adele, Harry Styles, Queens of the Stone Age, Iggy Pop, Weezer) in LA, mastered by the Grammy-nominated UK legend Mike Marsh (Björk, Oasis, Depeche Mode) — and illustrated by Magnus Voll Mathiassen.
