🔎 The 1% Error Rate Myth: Busted!
Every structural steel shop we talk to claims they have a 1% on-site error rate. But when we put that to the test using our augmented reality 3D model overlay software, the results told a very different story.
We randomly selected 80 fabricated and inspected assemblies from 40 shops across the UK, Canada, US and Australia and found 20 errors.
That’s not 1%
That’s 25% 🤯
So why the disconnect?
We believe it’s because most shops don’t have the right technology to see their real error rate. Traditional inspection methods can only catch so much—what’s slipping through could be costing you in rework, delays, and site disputes.
