The many faces of Richard Castle, or is it Nathan Fillion? Music: Meravigliosa Creatura - Gianna Nannini Text: Trueheart/Peggy First thing: a big thank you to Trueheart and The Lady FACES Claudia's video reminds me why I love Castle so much and Nathan Fillion's depiction of Rick Castle, a man whose beguiling face bares his soul and reveals his heart. Nathan is fearless in his portrayal of this man of so many faces: childish, serious; silly, sincere; amusing, wise; alone, whole; doubting, trusting; fearful, brave: Joyful! Kind! in Love! A man in love with life, and Kate, Rick is an unlikely hero who becomes more that he ever thought he could be. It is hard to look away from his honesty. And the face at the end of "Watershed": Never has his face been so quiet, so free of flourishes of amusement. Rick's handsome, expressive face is stripped bare and reveals only a man. Electric blue eyes penetrate and beseech. Rick's face speaks his truth. I am real. Peggy/Trueheart
