Geez, this was done before I took my break, I'm sorry! I didn't have enough time to render it before I left. And just my luck, my internet was messed up for the passed few days. But here it is! My secret-hush-hush project I was working on. I hope you enjoy it! I edited for entertainment purposes only. ------ If you wish to understand the story fully, go on ahead and read those paragraphs a bit further down. ------ Seemingly always at home taking care of Denzel and Marlene without Cloud, Tifa has now been hit with a sudden reality. Does she deserve living like this, waiting for her first and longest love to love her back? He's always gone, where is beyond Tifa's knowledge, and rarely comes home. She can't take it anymore and though it breaks her heart to do this, she has to give him up. She doesn't think she can wait forever on a relationship that never seems to work out. So a day Cloud finally comes back, Tifa tells him how she feels and he simply claims he's leaving and goes back out the door. The next few days Tifa becomes emotional and regrets what she said, wanting Cloud back more than ever. So much so that she believes she sees him in the crowded city, before the church, and runs towards him - but runs into someone else. Remembering his face several times from the bar and on television, she understands her mistake and quickly apologizes. Embarrassed, she tries to walk off, but he grabs her hand after she got a few steps away. She turns to him and out of embarrassment and the build up of the emotions with Cloud, she starts to cry. Tidus grabs her shoulder and kisses her hesitantly. 3 months later . . . Tifa and Tidus has already begun dating and Tifa introduced him to Marlene and Denzel. The children soon look up to him and grow very close, almost like a family like Tifa has been waiting for. But there is always this part of Tifa that remembers Cloud and finds it difficult to move on. Slowly she's getting better and she can go a couple days without remembering Cloud. But then everything starts hurting again, when Cloud comes back. "I have to talk." Furious that he came back and has the nerve to try to explain himself, she retorts that she knows and tries to say that even if he does she doesn't want him anymore. But he stops her, "That promise." That promise. All those promises they made one another, when they were younger and when he said he'd take care of her and the kids. She doesn't know what to say anymore and trys to think. "You're late." The saying was for the man who just walked in. Cloud, quickly understanding Tidus and Tifa could be together, starts to stand up. "It's okay..." Tifa whispers. She didn't want Cloud to leave, not like this. He only stops for a moment, remembering what he once had and tells her "Goodnight", his goodbye. As he leaves, Tifa feels still freshly torn between her love for Tidus and Cloud, but to her surprise, easily finds her way into Tidus's arms. Weeks later, Marlene asks Tifa to go with her to the church to see the flowers Tifa and Tidus talked about. Upon their arrival, Tifa and Marlene both notice there is someone living here. Tifa then suggests they should get going and when they turn back around they stop to gaze at a familiar face. ----- Please excuse Yuna. Just try to think that she's Tifa.
