Join us today as we crack our very first fairy egg! We've had chickens for nearly two years now. While we've had several hens as new layers, they have simply laid a smaller egg to start with. But when an egg is this small it's called a fairy egg. It's usually a sign that a new hen has started laying and this is her first egg.
