God called Abram, and God gave a promise—but what matters is how Abram responded. “So Abram went…” He didn’t wait for more details or a full plan. He heard God, and he moved. As he went, he walked step by step through the land, building altars and calling on the Lord along the way. His journey wasn’t just movement—it was dependence. This is what faith looks like. Not just believing, but acting. Scripture tells us that faith without works is dead, and Abram shows us why. Faith isn’t passive—it moves, it follows, it trusts God enough to take the next step even without seeing the whole path. So the question is: am I just hearing God’s Word, or am I moving because of it?
