This is a short video describing the very basics of the dialogue system. The dialogue system is pretty complicated in Fallout 2, but because it uses the same scripting system the rest of the game uses it's also incredibly powerful. Eventually I'll cover a lot of the different details in the dialogue system and other scripting magic, but this episode just covers the basics: How to edit the dialogue lines, how to refer to them from a script, how to make new dialogue nodes, and how to attach a script to a critter.
