The difficulty level is Very Hard. Before the bombs fell, the wastelander was accepted into Vault Tec's Vault 111 for cryogenic testing. The cryogenic process was sabotaged by the Institute on purpose since they wanted to kidnap your son Shaun. After leaving vault 111 you return to Sanctuary Hills meeting up with Codsworth, your nanny robot.
