False Cape VA State Park

False Cape State Park is a FANTASTIC park with EXQUISITE views and so much to do and see!!! As first-time visitors and primitive campers, we knew we wanted to soak up and experience as much of the park as possible in our short 2-night stay. We began by hiking 4+ miles down the beach, which was a lot of fun, and we spent our first night at the Barbour Hill Ocean Side campground. This reservation was what granted us access to sleep on the beach as well as a legitimate campsite with a picnic table within the shade of the live oak trees. After hiking and exploring more of the park, our second night was spent at Barbour Hill Bay Side campground which was a very different experience, but just as incredible, with easy access to tons of hiking opportunities and beautiful sunset views overlooking Back Bay. This was such a fun and exciting trip that we can’t wait to return in the future to have more adventures in the park! I highly recommend visiting and camping at False Cape VA State Park🙂❤️
